Dr. Nazar Azoz
Born and educated in Iraq, Nazar has fifteen years of truly global brand experience in FMCG and retail marketing. He has spent the last six years specializing in strategy and insights for consumer brands in Middle Eastern markets.
He began his commercial career in product development at Unilever and then moved into consumer research. It was during this time that Nazar developed a fascination for consumers, and their attitudes and behaviour, that has spanned his entire career.
He has held a number of senior roles on both client and agency side, including at The Body Shop International and United Biscuits.
Nazar has a doctorate in Laser Physics gained at University of Sussex in the UK. Holding several technical patents, he is also an expert at interfacing between innovation and marketing. Nazar speaks fluent English and Arabic (including Classic Arabic and 5 other local accents from different parts of the Middle East).
